From the Ground Up

From humble beginnings in a garage studio in 2018 to a community of aspiring and experienced Auburn-Opelika artists communing, creating and sharing their work since 2022, the time has now come for Still Point to have its own facility that can support not only all that it has become, but all that it will.

Designed to be more than just a wheel-thrown pottery studio, Still Point will be home to a diverse array of arts education offerings for all ages as well as a gallery of member creations.  It will host earthen architecture demonstrations and collaborations with community partner organizations on events featuring live music and food.

If you are moved to help us build this creative oasis,
here are four ways to do so, and thank you!

Potter Annika Lee and Her Ware

Annika Lee,

Founder & Creative Director

A former student of master potters Martin Lill & Mark Derby of New Orleans, Annika has facilitated wheel-thrown pottery classes in Auburn since 2022.  Creating under the name Elemental Artcraft, her work is designed to be both beautiful and useful.  Commissioned works often involve delicate carvings inspired by nature.  Each piece is infused with positive intentions embodied in personal inscriptions.
