Still Point Clay Atelier

Service Description

Every day is Mother's Day at Still Point! This hands-on session prioritizes memories over masterpieces, offering quality time for a mother and child (ages 8+) to experience the messy and magical sensation of playing with clay on the wheel in a nurturing and supportive atmosphere. Learn to shape a small bowl or planter on the wheel! Each child must be accompanied by his or her Mother or Grandmother for a 1-1 ratio. All clay and tools are provided in the $65 fee per duo. This two-hour small-group session is facilitated by Annika, a potter with almost three decades of experience as an early childhood and elementary arts educator. We will help you snap a photo to capture the moment, and each mother-child duo may select one piece for us to glaze fire as a treasured keepsake.
